Your chalet of 115m2 (1238 sq. ft,) is situated in a quiet corner on the edge of a forest and benefits from an uninterrupted view, which can take your breath away, over Lake Geneva and the Riviera; only a few minutes from Montreux and Vevey, however in the heart of the countryside! From the veranda, terrace, the balcony or in the Jacuzzi you will live magical moments with a unique view over all the Riviera.
Ground floor :
You will find a veranda of 15m2 (161 sq. ft.) with surrounding glass walls giving a breath-taking aerial view of the Riviera and Lake Geneva. This is the most enjoyable living areas of the house for cocktails or meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern facilities.
The cosy lounge has a fireplace and television (Chromecast).
1st Floor :
You will find two bedrooms. One with a bed of 180 x 200 cm and a TV (Chromcast) and the second with a bed 160 x 200 cm (Queen).
Between the two bedrooms is an office/study equipped for “work from home” with a ship’s bunkbed to relax upon – for example reading…!
Together the first floor rooms have access to a large balcony (furnished with a table and armchairs) with the unique view. Just the place to enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea.!
For your comfort, during the cold season, each room on the first floor has underfloor heating, complementing the wood pellet stove of the chalet.
Exterior :
At the end of Winter the terrace allows one to enjoy the calmness of the environment to its full extent. While benefiting from an exterior living area, a barbecue provides the means to share and enjoy a relaxing end to the day before taking a dip in the Jacuzzi at 36 °C offering a spectacular view over the Riviera
The chalet is an excellent starting place for some wonderful walks or hikes in the forests or mountains nearby such as the Rochers de Naye or the Dent de Jaman including the beautiful chemin des Narcisses.

Who may stay in the chalet ?

Children under the age of 13 years and babies are not allowed for security reasons. (There is a risk of young children falling over the borders of the property.

Parties and Festivities are not allowed.
It is your holidays, we do not have rules to impose upon you, except those of good sense and respect for the chalet and for those who live in the neighbourhood.
• It is essential that tourists/visitors have reservation for insurance reasons.
Each person must show an identity card or passport to register their stay in accordance with the rules of the Swiss authorities and the tourist office (Riviera Card for reductions).
• Concerning the Jacuzzi, for the reasons of hygiene, it is necessary to take a shower before entering the Jacuzzi and to wear a bathing costume.
It is prohibited to use drinking glasses in the Jacuzzi. We have mad available plastic, recyclable glasses for your use.
• The Jacuzzi is allowed to be used every day between 0900 and 00.00.
If we are obliged to clean and completely change the water, following non-compliance with hygiene rules, we will be forced to charge CHF 150.- for the work and the changing of the water filter.
The Jacuzzi is disinfected with an automatic steriliser from 00.15 to 08.15
• For your security, everyday during the afternoon, we verify the water quality and carry out a control of the filter.
• Music outside or in the jacuzzi must be turned off from midnight every day
• We ask you not to wear your shoes on the first floor of the chalet because we have laid a carpet.
Transport We would encourage you to use a car. We can be found 8 minutes, 4.7 Km. from the Montreux exit of the motorway (coming from Geneva/Lausanne).
The access drive, to the chalet allows you to enter to the undercover parking area (free) for your use.
Between the parking area and the chalet there is a wlk of about 100 m.
By public transport :
The chalet is 15=20 minutes, on foot, (1.4 Km) from the railway station at Chamby sur Montreux.
There are trains every 20 - 50 minutes in both directions between 05.30 to 23.55
It is possible for us to collect you at the station Chamby sur Montreux depending upon our availability.
